    How the Oceano’s shell is manufactured

    Italian Design
    The Oceano has been designed by Ignazio Bernardi, with the technical consultancy from the greatest Italian helmet designer.
    The result is a helmet with a distinctive, modern appearance.

    Shell in strong polycarbonate

    The 3 mm polycarbonate shell is very light but also very strong.

    Polystyrene

    To make the helmet as light as possible, the polystyrene has a series of carefully-engineered perforations.

    4 fixed sizes with interchangeable internal paddings

    This helmet has a waterproof internal padding that can be replaced by larger or smaller one, thus varying the helmet size.If the helmet is not a perfect fit, we send a new padding free of charge, independently from where you bought the helmet.The important advantage: you can easily remove the padding and replace it with a new one.The size of a helmet is always described by the inner circumference of the internal padding.
    The size number therefore corresponds to the head circumference in centimetres.
    There are 4 internal padding for the sizes:

    • 56 (Small)
    • 58 (Medium)
    • 60 (Large)
    • 61 (X Large)

    Micrometric chin strap

    The chin strap can be infinitesimally adjusted.

    E.N. 1385 Certification

    For the first time, we have attained a new certification for this lightweight helmet: E.N. 1385 (Helmets for canoeing and white water sports)The Oceano has the same certification of the helmet Nerv light.
    It has been tested by the italian laboratory CSI, a company authorized by the Italian Ministry of Transport.Weights
