Helmet 4fight

Italian Design

The 4fight has been designed originally by Ignazio Bernardi, with the technical consultancy from the greatest Italian helmet developer.
Manfred Ruhmer, the 5 times Hang Gliding World Champion, has made for himself the Jet version.
Then everybody wanted the same helmet.
We went in to production and called it 4fight MR (MR for Manfred Ruhmer)
The result is a unique helmet, very aerodynamic.

Shell made of strong fiber glass

Helmet 4fight MR, a helmet built using the same technology as in military applications, including high-modulus glass fibre and high-density Polystyrene to guarantee the highest possible standards of safety.

Polystyrene

The polystyrene is very thick to achieve the hard penetration test of the E.N. 966 certification.

Visor

We sell this helmet only with the visor.
4 colors are available: transparent, tinted brown, tinted blue, mirror.Attention: the mirror visor is very delicateAll our visors are antifog, antiscratch and have full UV protection.

Sizes

The are 3 available sizes:

Small (cm 56)
Medium (cm 58)
Large (cm 60 – 61)

The size of a helmet is always described by the inner circumference of the internal padding.
The size number therefore corresponds to the head circumference in centimetres.

Interchangeable internal padding

This helmet has a fixed luxury internal padding that can be replaced by larger or smaller one, thus varying the helmet size.If the helmet is not a perfect fit, we send a new padding free of charge, independently from where you bought the helmet.The important advantage: you can easily remove the padding and replace it with a new one or just wash it.

Ear covers

The very soft ear covers avoids any wind noise
They are easily removable.
Sometimes they can change the fabrics of the strap.In order to increase the protection we advise to always use the helmet with the ear pads protection and never take them off.

Certification E.N. 966

The 4fight has been tested by the italian laboratory CSI a company authorized by the Italian Ministry of Transport.All our helmets are designed especially for free flight pilots, in accordance with the European standards (EN 966).Our helmets were designed and built specifically to be as light as possible. However they optimize safety for hang glider and paraglider pilots.For more information about the E.N. 966 test please read our page About safety

Weights

grams 700 +/- gr. 50 including the visor.The weight of a fiber glass helmet has a tolerance of +/- 50 grams due to the glue applied and to the thickness of the fiber glass layers.
